Nigel Nixon and Partners, Inc. were commissioned to advise on the paving system for the refurbishment of Union Station in Kansas City. Our scope of work was to advise on the selection of suitable paving systems and develop a specifications for the work related to a critical street area of the project. The paving comprises cobbles set on a modified sand/cement bed over portland cement concrete paving on grade. Project status – ongoing.
